SGM Sugar Mills Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on September 12, 2007, as a Public Limited Company Unquoted in Stock Exchange of Pakistan. United Group acquired SGM Sugar Mills in the month of June 2018.The Company is principally engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sugar.

SGM is a sugar manufacturing unit of the country spreading on 495 acres and its present crushing capacity is 12,000 ton of sugarcane per day.

Factory / Plant

The plant is located at District Wallo Mahar, 17-KM, Jarwar Road, Ghotki (Sindh) on 495 acres. SGM’s initial cane crushing capacity is 8,000 tons per day with production capacity of mill above 96,000 MT Sugar per annum refined white sugar based on 120 days operation and 10.00% sugar recovery. The crushing capacity of SGM expected to be increased 12,000 tons per day with production capacity of mill above 144,000 metric tons per annum of refined white sugar based on 120 days operation and 10.00% sugar recovery. The total numbers of employees are around 1,000 during the season in three shifts. Workers’ colony is also located within the vicinity of the Mills in addition to guest house, officers’ flats and executive bungalows, etc.
